History of Hook Shikukai.

Hook Shikukai Karate Club was founded in 1993 by Isobel Selby 3rd Dan and her brother Rob Selby 3rd Dan, who is currently the Shikukai instructor in Otter Valley in Devon.

In 2004 Isobel and Rob moved away to follow their professional commitments and since that date the club has been run by Hiroshi Mizuno 3rd Dan.

In 2007 Hook regular Ashley Gale achieved his 1st Dan and was appointed as assistant instructor the following year.

Members of the club compete regularly at the Shikukai Championships and also support events in the locality.

Club venue and training times:

Sunday; 6.30pm to 8.30pm (7.30 for beginners)

Elizabeth Hall, Raven Road, Hook, Hampshire. RG27 9HH.

Children from 5 years old, Adults, beginners welcome.
